New journal launch program established to publish journals in partnership with associations
UNITED KINGDOM, 4 December 2007 – Emerald Group Publishing Limited is pleased to announce the launch of another exciting new journal in 2008. The Journal of European Real Estate Research (JERER) aims to provide a European forum for the interchange of information and ideas relating to commercial and residential property. It will become the official publication of the European Real Estate Society (ERES);
The new journal will publish peer-reviewed papers ranging from commercial finance and investment to subjects as diverse as housing and residential development. It will consist of well-written, readable articles of intellectual rigour with a theoretical and practical relevance to the real estate profession. All papers will apply to, or be based on data from Europe.
The journal will be edited by Professor Simon Stevenson, who is Professor of Finance at Cass Business School, City University, London. Simon is Co-Director of the Centre for Real Estate Finance at Cass. He says, "The launch of JERER heralds an important milestone for ERES with the launch of their official journal in association with Emerald. The journal aims to provide an outlet for the highest quality European research and to provide a valuable resource for both the academic and professional research communities".
As the official publication of ERES, members will be able to access articles from three leading journals in Emerald’s extensive Property portfolio as well as being able to access the online version of the new journal when it is published next year.
